Wordpress Plug-ins Integration Steps

Want to get up and running as quickly as possible? Follow these simple steps:

1. Send the following information to support@userplane.com:
   • Must state that you are a “Wordpress site”
   • Site or Company Name
   • Technical Contact Information
   • Business Contact Information
   • Desired Usage Plan: Free or Paid (see pricing page for more info)
   • Website URL: (ex. www.yoursite.com)
     
     
2. Once we have received this info we will configure your account and email you the account and server info needed to finish the integration (please allow two business days for initial account setup).
   
   
3. The next step is to load the Userplane Wordpress plugin files.
   • All Wordpress Plugins: Download
     
     
4. Make sure you have your server running the following versions of software:
   • Apache 2.2.3
   • PHP 5.1.6 - 5.2 (you must have the mcrypt library installed, so it can handle the rijndael-128 encryption algorithm)
   • MySQL 5.0.22
   • Wordpress 2.3.1
     
     

1. To install plug-ins you need to copy files to /wp-content/plugins/ folder. To activate plug-ins use Plugins menu link. Just press Activate button for each plug-in. To manage “Chat suite” widget use the “Presentation → Widgets” menu link. You can drag and drop the Userplane Plugins as Wordpress widgets onto Wordpress sidebar.
2. Once this is completed, you will see a CHAT SUITE link along the top menu. Click on this, then click the CHAT CONFIGURATION link to the upper left beneath this tab.
3. There are several options here, the most important are towards the bottom. You need to input your FLASHCOM SERVER, DOMAIN ID, and AD ZONE IDs. We send these to you in an email when we set up your account.
4. There is also a INSTANT MESSAGE CONFIGURATION, and a WEBRECORDER CONFIGURATION section for which you make the same modifications to enable proper functioning.
5. Make sure you allow users to use the Plugins on the CHAT USERS CONFIGURATION page (Chat Suite → Chat User Permissions).
