Want to get up and running as quickly as possible? Follow these simple steps:

1. Select the app you want to integrate from the list below. If you are setting your apps up through a VAR, please skip these steps and go to this section instead.
   
   
2. Upload/Create your API file and send the full URL to support@userplane.com.
   • Site or Company Name
   • Technical Contact Information
   • Business Contact Information
   • Desired Usage Plan: Free or Paid (see pricing page for more info)
   • URL to API file (one for each app you integrate)
     
     
3. Once we have received this info we will configure your account and email you the account and server info needed to finish the integration (please allow one business day for initial account setup).
   
   
4. The last step is to implement and test the end user code.
   • Webmessenger 2, Webchat 2, Webrecorder: If you have submitted your API URL to us you should have a valid domainID and a flashcom server name we created for you. Each of the flash applications requires that you specify these two parameters for it to connect. Once you have set these and the ID of the user in the client files you should be able to load them in a browser and test. There is more information on this part in each apps integration docs - Webmessenger 2 , Webchat 2 , Webrecorder, Mediaplayer, Desktop, and Plug-ins.
   • Desktop: Now that you have sent us the URL to your DPXML API file you can use the application builder to generate your branded installer. Your desktop clients will talk to you via the DPXML file, check the XML docs for more info on that interface.
     
     
5. Now that you have the basics working you can work with the API to customize and further integrate your Userplane application with your site!

Excellent deployments include: users recording their own a/v profiles, users sending and receiving a/v mail, and 1-2-3 administration of site-wide a/v help, announcements, and news.
  
  
• Plug-ins: These Plug-ins are a simple way to get Userplane functionality in your Drupal, phpFox, Joomla, Mambo, Wordpress, or VBulletin site. Webchat, Webmessenger, and Webrecorder are included.
  
  

You will need to confirm your order by emailing support@userplane.com with the subject “VAR Order Confirmation: {insert VAR company name here}”. See the list of VAR’s below to see which company name belongs in your subject line. In the message body please indicate the name of the site that will be using the application. Once the order has been confirmed we will set up your account and forward the relevant information to your script provider.
